Registration

Pre-registration

Families may put their names on a pre-registration list at any point in time prior to February of the desired enrollment year. Call (330) 723-1800 to receive appropriate papers.

Siblings

Once a family has been registered at The Nurtury®, all siblings are given the opportunity to pre-register, if parents complete appropriate papers.

Guidelines

The following guidelines are followed: Presently enrolled children are placed on fall class lists in February, followed by siblings of present and previous enrollees. Then, those who have put their names on the Pre-registration list register for classes. Registration is then opened to the public for any available openings. Families may register during the year for available openings in all programs. Waiting lists are maintained.

Visitations

After stopping in the office, interested parents may visit at any time. Mornings are recommended for those interested in full-day preschool programs.

Color Code Release System

Our release system was recognized by CBS-TV as "Exemplary." Each family is given a confidential "Color Code." If an adult picking up a child is not recognized the Code needs to be given. If parent calls for account info-code must be given.
Basically, the Code "unlocks" The Nurtury®.

A University Resource

The Nurtury® hosts students from the University of Akron, Kent State, Cuyahoga Community College and Medina Career Center as student teachers and participant/observers. One-way windows encourage observation by parents and other interested community adults.
